Wednesday, 2 February Setsubun - Ehomaki @ English Night Setsubun is a traditional Japanese Holiday that is supposed to mark the transition out of Winter and into Spring. In celebration of the holiday we hold a special Eigo night this week complete with do-it-yourself ehou maki (favorable direction sushi rolls?!?) and some good ol' fashioned bean-style demon harrasment. 18:00 - 21:00 1,500 yen per person (incl. a Eho-maki Sushi roll)

Rakugo in English @ English Night -by Sayohime
Rakugo is a traditional Japanese comedic storytelling performance, where one actor tells an entire story while kneeling using only two props, a fan, and a small towel. In this event, Sayohime-san will be sharing her mastery of this unique art with us in English. It's sure to be a memorable event that will keep you in stitches throughout. After the performance you will even get a chance to learn some of the tricks of the trade.
