A mainstay of historical Kyoto, the machiya, is gradually disappearing from Kyoto's streets, but you can help reverse this trend! Join Andrew in a half-day workshop at a machiya nearby and learn about the machiya preservation process while working hands-on with materials such as plaster and bengara with drinks and food provided at Café Frosch.
