Book Art Workshop by Bound in Japan - Exploring diversity through art and community -
Throughout history, books and art have allowed people all over the world to share their stories. Have a story to share? Want to make art? Join Bound in Japan as we draw inspiration from life to create book art.
During the workshop, you will learn about book art, how to visually tell a story, and how to make your own artist’s book. With “Life in Japan” as the theme, we will do short writing exercises to generate ideas for your artist’s book.
The goal of Bound in Japan is to promote multicultural understanding and exchange through the creation and sharing of art. Workshop participants will have the opportunity to display their artist’s book in a collective exhibition.
